Mostly Wordless Wednesday: Favorite Summer Photos.

I’m pretty sure it was just yesterday that I was moaning about how hot it was, and wishing that summer would get over itself.

Well, I seem to have gotten my wish.

School is back in session. The new college academic year started on Monday. And the temperature? Well, I thought about turning on the heat a couple of days ago.

In other words, fall is on the way.

I’m glad, for once. But also a little sad. It’s been a good summer. One that, in hindsight, went far too fast.

So, before the season passes into ancient history, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite photos with you.

After all, we have to remind ourselves of the things that are worth living for…especially when the world’s filled with darkness and gloom.

Sorry, sorry…politics are still weighing heavily on my mind.

But look! Cute kid pictures! Everyone say awwwww!

I feel better now, don’t you?

Awwwwwww! :-) We’re starting to get a break from the heat here, as well. And I’m VERY grateful. G is still too young to go to school, so fall doesn’t yet have the emotional complication of me having to let go of my baby. Not looking forward to that when it comes… 😉

Yeah, mine just goes to daycare, so it’s same ol’ same ol’ for us. I imagine it will be harder when it’s actual school for us!

I’m almost sad that summer is coming to end too… I do hope that the mid 70’s stick around for a while. I love fall though and am looking forward to that!

We were back up in the 90s this weekend, so I don’t think summer’s done with us yet. Which is good…and bad. I do love fall!
