For years and years, bloggers have relied on that handy Google Friends Connect Widget to, well, connect.
I remember fondly the day I got my first follower. And my 25th. And my 100th… They were all good days.
But now, the Google gods have decided that we can no longer be friends. Why? Because I abandoned ye old Blogger in favor of a newer, fancier, much bloggier blog platform (i.e. WordPress).
That’s right. They’re taking Google Friends Connect away…probably in hopes that we’ll migrate back. Somehow, I don’t think that’s going to work out for them.
But, anyway…if you are a GFC subscriber, and you like me even a little bit, you need to change your subscription options. Like, now. Because I think GFC is going away in a matter of days.
