Just Vote.

I don’t care whether you’re African American, Caucasian, or of such mixed heritage you can’t even give yourself a label.

I don’t care whether you’re the first generation daughter of a Mexican immigrant or if  you can track your pedigree back to the Pilgrims.

I don’t even care if you’ve never taken part in an election in your life.

I hope you’ll vote tomorrow.

I don’t care whether you’re a Tea Party supporter, a conservative Republican, a die-hard Democrat or a Libertarian.

I don’t care whether you think Glenn Beck is the wisest man on earth or if you think Sarah Palin is the devil.

I don’t even care if you think America is the worst country on earth.

I hope you’ll vote tomorrow.

I don’t care whether you’re pro-health care reform or pro-life.

I don’t care whether you’re an Obama lover or think he’s the Antichrist.

I don’t even care if you’re a dyed in the wool racist who thinks only white men should have the right to go to the polls.

I hope you’ll vote tomorrow.

Millions—make that billions—of people the world over would give anything to have the right to do what we take for granted.

Heck, the majority of us here in the States have had the privilege for less than a century.

So no matter how busy you are, please take the time to vote tomorrow.

Our country may have problems.

Our system may be broken.

But it’s ours, and we can fix it.

But to do it, you have to vote tomorrow.

So whoever you are, whatever you believe, just do it. Vote.

I’ve been working on figuring out all the Prop A and so on and so fourth so that I can have a half educated vote……….It’s hard having all this weight on my shoulders (making an educated vote), but well worth it because come Wednesday morning, I get to complain how this country is ran because I didn’t vote that way or whatnot.

That’s what I think, too. If you don’t vote, you’re not allowed to complain. Period.

Thank you! Every once in a while, I have to get pseudo political – in a way designed not to piss anyone off.

You’re in France. You have a darn good excuse. I’m not sure I’d be motivated to vote if I was living in another country.
